Singer, songwriter, music producer and designer, Jesús Pineda is passionate about music and art in all its forms. He loves making music that connects to the essential truths concerning who we are. His music encompasses the values of each individual to reach a sense of purpose to live a meaningful life, by bringing personal experiences through storytelling.

Born and raised at the heart of Central America, Jesús Pineda started singing since he was six years old competing in music festivals in his hometown of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Jesús gained recognition throughout Honduran media by singing genres such as Opera, Ballads, Boleros and Jazz. During this time, he performed in fundraisers for foundations and institutions such as Fundación Arca, Fundación Hondureña para el Niño con Cáncer, Rotary Club and the United Nations World Food Programme, to name a few.  He also performed for national and international Television in a variety of presentations. In 2014, he performed for the “Alborada de la Virgen de Suyapa”, a national televised event taking place in the Basilica of Suyapa in Tegucigalpa, singing for an audience of over five thousand people while being broadcasted live to the Honduran population.

That same year, he went to the Savannah College of Art and Design to continue his studies. While pursuing his degree, he was a singer for the university where he performed in graduations, private events, music and film festivals as well as musical theatre productions. During his time in Savannah, he was a member of the SCAD Performance Ensemble under the direction of Musical Director Kevin Wallace and played roles in productions such as Michael Martin’s The Snuff Musical, All Shook Up, SCAD Savannah Songs, Silver Screen Serenade among many others in the Lucas Theatre, Trustees Theatre and Mondanaro Theatre. He also performed in local venues for the Savannah Film Festival and participated in local events such as the Savannah Philharmonic’s “Picnic in the Park”.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2018 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture and a minor in Music Composition.

After two years working professionally in an architecture firm, and growing independently in his music production skills, Jesus decided to hone his skills and grow as an artist and pursue a Master of Music in Music Production, Technology and Innovation from Berklee College of Music where he has continued to expand his knowledge in songwriting, sound engineering, recording, sound design, mixing and mastering music.  He has been working on a Latin/Pop Album set to release soon and has focused his thesis in developing audio reactive visuals for his electronic music project ‘midsoul’, with emphasis in creating 3D-visual environments to capture ‘the architecture of the music you are listening to’. Jesus is driven and passionate and is always eager in exploring new ways he can express himself creatively to create things that are beautiful but that can ultimately transcend and connect with anyone who listens and experiences.
